Perfect Workout in Small Spaces

I want to be a yogi, but sometimes I feel like I need more cardio than zen. It can be challenging to work out especially in small spaces. My daughter’s toys take up a lot of space. While she plays, I find the time to work out with my limited space. 

Here’s a few workouts that I LOVE:

Jumping rope 

Don't have the room to swing the rope? 

Try "ghost jumping," doing the movement without the actual rope. It is just as effective in keeping your heart rate up and breaking a sweat. (Aim for 100-200 jumps but listen to your body and your knees)

Body weight exercises

No equipment? No problem!

This is my rotation for 3-4 rounds:

Burpee (60 seconds)

Jump Squats (60 seconds)

Lunges (60 seconds)

Skater Jumps (60 seconds)

Mountain Climbers (60 seconds)

Plank (1 minute)
